Media and AI Studio

How does the Media library work?

Upload, search, sort and organise the images, videos and PDFs you use in posts. Supported formats, Google Drive import, storage and deleting files.

Updated 23 October 2026

Media in the sidebar is where every image, video and PDF you upload lives. Upload files there or straight from the composer, search them, and reuse them in any post.

Upload

  1. Click Media in the sidebar.
  2. Click Upload, or drag files onto the page.
  3. Wait for videos to finish processing. The card says Processing video... until the MP4 is ready.

You can also upload inside the composer, pick from Your library, or click Add from Google Drive.

Find and organise

  • Search media... finds files by name.
  • Sort by Date, Size, Usage or Name.
  • Filter by type: Image, Video or PDF.
  • Click Favorite on a file and filter to your favourites.
  • Each file shows Type, Size, Uploaded and Used in (the posts that use it).
  • Click Select to choose several files, then Delete or Create Post.

There are no folders or tags today. Use search and favourites to organise.

Supported files

  • Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, HEIC, HEIF, AVIF, SVG
  • Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM, MKV, M4V, 3GP. Videos are converted to MP4 and a thumbnail is made.
  • Documents: PDF, for LinkedIn document posts

Default upload limits are 20 MB per image and 4 GB per video. Some platforms allow less. See the video formats article.

Storage

Your plan includes 2 GB (Lite), 5 GB (Starter), 10 GB (Growth) or 50 GB (Scale). Files are not deleted after a post goes out. Images and videos made in AI Studio do not count. Delete files you no longer need to free space, or add 50 GB for $5 a month in Settings > Billing.

Who can see the library

The library belongs to the workspace. Everyone in the workspace sees the same files.
