Getting started

How do I create and schedule my first post?

Click New Post, write your text, add media, tick the accounts, then click Publish now or pick a time and click Schedule.

Updated 23 October 2026

Click New Post in the sidebar, write your text, add your media, tick the accounts, then click Publish now or choose a time and click Schedule.

Steps

  1. Connect at least one account on the Accounts page. The post editor needs an account to post to.
  2. Click New Post in the sidebar.
  3. Write your text in the editor.
  4. Add images or a video. Drag files in, or pick them from your Media library.
  5. Tick the accounts that should get this post. You can tick accounts on several platforms at once.
  6. Open Customise per platform if you want different text or settings for one platform. For example a shorter caption for X (Twitter), a Reel instead of a video on Facebook, or a board on Pinterest.
  7. Choose when it goes out. The time menu offers Now, Next queue opening, Best times, Quick times and Custom Time....
  8. Click Publish now to post straight away, or Schedule to post at the chosen time. Click Save Draft to come back later.

Good to know

  • Times use the time zone in Settings > Profile > Timezone.
  • The editor checks each platform's limits before you schedule. If a caption is too long or a video is too long for one platform, it tells you which one and why.
  • A platform that needs media, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Pinterest, will not accept a text-only post.
  • After you schedule, the post shows on the Calendar and on All posts. Open it there to edit, move or delete it.
  • Two more post types live in the same editor: Blog post (when a WordPress site is connected) and X Article (needs X Premium).
