Scheduling and publishing
Is there a limit on how many posts I can schedule a day on X (Twitter)?
No limit from PostEverywhere. X applies its own rate limits, so very high volumes on X can be spaced out or held and sent later. Nothing is lost.
No. PostEverywhere doesn't limit how much you post: every plan includes unlimited posts. Each social platform sets its own limits, such as daily posting caps and rate limits, and PostEverywhere works within them, so very high volumes can be spaced out or held until the platform allows them.
What you may notice on X (Twitter)
X applies its own rate limits to posts sent through apps. If you schedule a very large number of X posts for the same day, some of them can be spaced out or held and sent later. A held post stays Scheduled with a note on it saying it is waiting for X, and it is sent as soon as X allows. Nothing fails and nothing is lost.
Tips
- Spread X posts across the day rather than stacking them at one time.
- Use the posting queue in Settings › Posting Queue so posts go out at set times.
- For a big launch, schedule a day or two ahead so held posts still land on the right day.
Other platforms
Other platforms have their own rules too. For example TikTok and YouTube limit how many videos an account can upload per day. When a platform refuses a post for that reason, the failure message says so and you can retry later. See Posting too frequently and daily upload limits.
