My invite link does not work or my teammate cannot sign in
Invite links last 7 days and must be opened with the invited email. Resend from Settings > Team, or ask the person to sign in with the invited address.
Updated 23 October 2026
Most invite problems have one of two causes: the link has expired, or the person is signed in with a different email address than the one you invited. Resend the invite from Settings > Team, and ask them to sign in with the exact email you invited.
Check these first
- The email address. The invite only works for the address it was sent to. Signing in with Google under a different Gmail creates a separate account. The invite page says "Please sign in with the invited email to accept."
- The date. Invite links expire after 7 days. In Settings > Team, an expired invite shows under pending invites. Click resend. The same link is valid for another 7 days.
- Seats. An invite can only be accepted while a seat is free. If you see "All seats are in use", add a seat or upgrade. See How many team members can I have, and how do I add more?.
- Already used. A link that was already accepted says "This invitation has already been used". The person can just log in at app.posteverywhere.ai/login.
For the person joining
- New to PostEverywhere: open the link, create a password (at least 8 characters), then log in with that email and password.
- Already have an account: log in first with the invited email, then open the link.
- Forgotten password: use Forgot password? on the login page. The reset email goes to the account email.
Resend limits
You can resend an invite every 2 minutes, up to a few times. After that, revoke it and invite again, or send the person the link another way.
