Updated 23 October 2026
PostEverywhere posts to a Telegram channel through a bot you own. You create the bot, make it an admin of the channel, and connect with its token.
Connect
- In Telegram, message @BotFather, send
/newbot, follow the prompts, and copy the token it gives you. It looks like7123456789:AAEx.... - Open your channel, tap its name, choose Administrators, tap Add Admin, select your bot, and turn on Post Messages. This is the step people miss.
- In PostEverywhere, open Accounts and click Add Account next to Telegram.
- Paste the Bot token.
- Enter the Channel. Public channel: its
@username. Private channel: its numeric ID, like-1001234567890. To find the ID, forward any post from the channel to @userinfobot and it replies with the ID. - Click Connect. PostEverywhere checks that the bot can post to the channel before saving.
Each channel counts as one account. The same bot can be connected to several channels.
