How to delete your account
Go to Settings > Advanced, open Danger zone, click Delete, type DELETE and confirm. This removes your connections, posts, media and billing data for good.
You can delete your account yourself. Go to Settings > Advanced, open Danger zone, click Delete, type DELETE and click Delete account. This cannot be undone.
Steps
- If you have a paid plan, cancel it first in Settings > Billing > Manage subscription so no further charge happens. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, cancel it in your iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Deleting the account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
- Go to Settings > Advanced.
- Click Danger zone to open it, then click Delete.
- Read what will be deleted, type DELETE in the box, and click Delete account.
- You are signed out. The account is gone.
You can also delete your account in the PostEverywhere iPhone app under Settings > Delete account.
What is deleted
- All social media connections. PostEverywhere's access to those accounts ends.
- All your posts, drafts and media.
- Your subscription and billing data. If you are the only person in your team, the subscription is cancelled and the billing record is deleted.
Nothing is removed from the social platforms themselves. Posts already published stay on the platforms.
If you are in a team
- If other people are in your team, you are removed and your seat is freed. The team, its subscription and its connected accounts stay for the others.
- If you are the owner and others are in the team, email support@posteverywhere.ai first so ownership can be moved.
Exporting your data
Settings > Advanced > Export data is marked Coming soon. If you need a copy of your data before deleting, email support@posteverywhere.ai.
If the button does not work
Email support@posteverywhere.ai from your account email with the subject "Delete my account" and we will do it for you.
