Can I post Instagram Stories? What about Facebook Stories?

Yes for Instagram. Set the Instagram Post Type to Story in the composer. A Story takes one image or one video. Facebook Stories are not supported today.

Post an Instagram Story#

1. Click New Post and select your Instagram account.
2. Add one image or one video.
3. Click Per platform and open the Instagram tab.
4. Under Post Type, choose Story.
5. Click Done, then Schedule or Publish now.

Details#

• A Story disappears after 24 hours and has no carousel support. Attach one file only.
• Alt text is not sent for Stories.
• Your Instagram account must be a professional account (Creator or Business) connected to PostEverywhere.
• The other Instagram post types are Feed Post, Reels (video only) and Trial Reel (video only, shown to non-followers first).

Facebook Stories#

PostEverywhere publishes Facebook Page posts, photos, videos and Reels. It does not publish Facebook Stories. If a Story is requested for Facebook through the API, the post is refused with a clear message instead of going out as a normal post. If you want Facebook Stories, tell us in the chat so we can count the request.
