AI agents and API
I signed up with Apple. Why is Apple sign-in missing when I connect Claude?
The web sign-in page used by AI agents has no Apple button. Sign in with an emailed login link, then set a password in Settings.
Updated 23 October 2026
Apple sign-in is only available inside the PostEverywhere iPhone app. When an AI agent such as Claude or ChatGPT asks you to sign in, it opens the web login page, which offers Google, email and password, and an emailed login link. Use the login link with the email on your Apple account.
Steps
- On the sign-in page, type the email address your PostEverywhere account uses.
- Click Email me a login link instead.
- Open the email "Your PostEverywhere login link" and click the link. It is valid for 15 minutes.
- You land on the Approve page. Check the account under Signed in as, then click Approve.
Set a password for next time
- In the app, open Settings and go to your profile.
- Under Set a password, enter a new password twice and click Set password.
From then on you can sign in with email and password on any device, including the web login page used by AI agents.
Details
- If you signed up with Apple's "Hide My Email" option, your PostEverywhere account uses the relay address Apple created. The login link must go to that address. Check the email you receive from PostEverywhere on your iPhone to see which address it is.
- The login link only works if an account exists for that address. The page shows the same message either way for security.
- You can request up to 3 login links every 15 minutes.
