Connecting accounts
It connected the wrong account, or Facebook keeps going to my personal profile. How do I fix it?
Platforms connect the account your browser is signed into. Log out, sign in as the right one, and connect again. Facebook asking for you first is normal.
Platforms connect whichever account your browser is already signed into. Log out of the platform, sign in as the right account, then click Add Account again. On Facebook, signing in as your personal profile first is normal: you choose the Page on the next screen.
Facebook keeps going to my personal profile
This is how Facebook works. Facebook Login signs in a person, never a Page. The first screen is always you. The second screen lists the Pages you manage. Tick the Page there. PostEverywhere can only post to Pages, never to a personal profile.
If the second screen lists no Pages, see Facebook shows no Pages when I connect.
It connected the wrong Facebook, Instagram, X or TikTok account
- Log out of that platform in your browser. The Accounts page offers Open X Logout and Open TikTok Logout. For others, log out on the platform's site or use a private window.
- Sign in as the right account.
- In PostEverywhere, Disconnect the wrong account if you do not want it (its scheduled posts are cancelled).
- Click Add Account and connect the right one.
Wrong YouTube channel
Disconnect it, click Add Account again, and on Google's screen pick the channel by its name. A Brand Account is listed under its own name, not yours.
Wrong Google Business Profile account
Connect again and choose the Google account that owns or manages the business.
