We opened our second location this month. Three things we would do differently: hire the opening team earlier, train on the menu before launch day, and share the build every week.

Profiles and Company Pages, posts to PDF carousels
Everything PostEverywhere does with LinkedIn
Plan, write and publish for people and Pages, then see which Company Page posts landed.
- Plan profiles and Pages together.
- Founders, team members and Company Pages share the content calendar, so nobody posts over each other.
- Posts written for the feed.
- AI Studio drafts LinkedIn posts up to 3,000 characters and turns slides into PDF carousels.
- Text, images, video and documents.
- Publish up to 20 images, video, or a PDF document carousel, with a link card from the first URL.
- Visibility and resharing.
- Choose Public, Connections Only or LinkedIn Members, and switch off resharing for posts that should stay put.
- Company Page analytics.
- Analytics shows impressions, clicks, likes, comments and shares for Company Page posts.
- The LinkedIn MCP server.
- Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any agent and ask it to draft and schedule LinkedIn posts for any profile or Page.
How it works
How to schedule LinkedIn posts to profiles and Company Pages
To schedule LinkedIn posts, connect your profile or Company Page, write the post, add an image, video or PDF, choose a publish time, and PostEverywhere publishes it through the official LinkedIn API. Scheduled posts reach the same people a manual post would.

Sign in with LinkedIn. Your personal profile connects straight away; a Company Page needs admin rights on that page.

Write your post.
You have up to 3,000 characters. Put the point in the first two lines, because LinkedIn hides the rest behind “see more”.
- Add media or a document. Attach up to 20 images, a video or a PDF document. Build a slide deck with the LinkedIn carousel maker first if you want a carousel.
- Pick a date and time. Choose a time, a Quick time or the next opening in your posting queue. Weekday mornings in your audience’s time zone are a good place to start.

| Images | A single image or a multi-image post of up to 20, each up to 100 MB |
| Video | One video per post, 3 seconds to 10 minutes, up to 5 GB |

Carousel slides read best at 1080 x 1350 (4:5 portrait) or 1080 x 1080 (square), with 6 to 12 slides and body text no smaller than 24pt. PostEverywhere does not publish LinkedIn polls or Articles, and it cannot tag people with @mentions or add alt text, so do those in LinkedIn itself.

Straight answers on scheduling, automating and measuring LinkedIn posts
The questions people type about LinkedIn scheduling, the LinkedIn API and connecting an AI agent, each answered in full below.
Can you schedule LinkedIn posts?
Yes. LinkedIn’s own composer schedules one post at a time, up to three months ahead, and PostEverywhere schedules posts to personal profiles and Company Pages from one calendar through the official LinkedIn API.
A scheduled post is an ordinary post as far as LinkedIn is concerned. The feed ranks it on how readers respond, such as how long they spend on it, the comments it gets and how often it is reshared, not on how it was published. Our guide to how the LinkedIn algorithm works explains those signals.
How do I schedule a LinkedIn post, and where do scheduled posts show up?
In LinkedIn, write the post, click the clock icon beside Post and pick a date and time; in PostEverywhere, connect the profile or Page once, write the post, attach media and choose a time or a queue opening.
Posts scheduled natively are listed in LinkedIn under the clock icon, then View all scheduled posts. Posts scheduled with PostEverywhere live in the PostEverywhere calendar instead, where you can edit, move or delete them right up to the moment they publish. You can do all of this from a computer, from a phone browser or from the iPhone app.
- Pick the profile or Company Page the post belongs to.
- Lead with your point, since only the opening lines show before “see more”.
- Attach images, a video or a PDF if the post needs one.
- Choose an exact time, a Quick time or the next opening in your posting queue.
Is there a free LinkedIn scheduler beyond LinkedIn’s own clock icon?
LinkedIn’s built-in scheduler is free; PostEverywhere is a paid tool with no free plan, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.
You add a card when you sign up, $0 is due today, and you can cancel anytime in the seven days. After that, Lite is $9 a month, Starter $19, Growth $29 and Scale $39 (pricing). What the money buys over the native tool: LinkedIn only queues one post at a time and three months out, while PostEverywhere has no horizon cap and takes up to 200 posts in a single bulk CSV upload.
What is the best LinkedIn scheduler for Company Pages and documents?
It depends on the job: for profiles, Company Pages, PDF carousels, visibility controls and an AI agent in one place from $9 a month, PostEverywhere covers it.
Buffer suits very simple needs, Hootsuite enterprise compliance, Planable approval-heavy teams and Sprout Social agency reporting. The comparison table lists each tool’s starting price and what it is good for.
Can I schedule to a LinkedIn Company Page as well as my personal profile?
Yes. Connect your personal profile and any Company Page where your LinkedIn account is an admin, then choose which one each post goes to; both publish through the official LinkedIn API.
The two behave differently once posts are live. Company Pages report impressions, clicks, likes, comments and shares in PostEverywhere Analytics, while personal profiles report no post analytics at all, so profile posts only show whether they published or failed.
How do I schedule a LinkedIn carousel or PDF document post?
Attach one PDF to a scheduled post and LinkedIn publishes it as a document that readers swipe through page by page; that is what most people mean by a LinkedIn carousel.
To build the slides, use AI Studio’s LinkedIn Carousel format (4 to 12 slides) or the free LinkedIn carousel maker, then export a PDF. If you would rather post photos, a multi-image post takes up to 20 images. Slide sizes are covered in our LinkedIn aspect ratios guide.
Can I choose who sees a scheduled LinkedIn post?
Yes. Every post has a Visibility setting (Public, Connections Only or LinkedIn Members) and a Disable resharing switch, both saved with the post and applied when it publishes.
Connections Only keeps a personal update inside your first-degree network, LinkedIn Members shows it to anyone signed in to LinkedIn but keeps it out of public search, and turning resharing off stops a sensitive update travelling beyond the audience you picked.
Do scheduled LinkedIn posts show link previews?
Yes. Put a URL in a post with no media attached and PostEverywhere builds the clickable article card from the first link, with its image, title and description.
The card is built from the page’s Open Graph tags. If the page blocks automated visitors or has no og:image, the post still goes out with the URL as plain text. Image, video and document posts show the attached media instead of a card.
LinkedIn content calendar and planner: can I plan a month of posts?
Yes. Every scheduled LinkedIn post sits in the PostEverywhere content calendar in week or month view, next to your other channels, so the month is planned before anything goes live.
Filter the calendar to one profile or Page, drag a post to another day when plans change, and let new posts take the next free slot in your posting queue. Stuck for topics? Our 100 LinkedIn content ideas gives you hooks and angles to fill the gaps.
Is there a LinkedIn analytics tool for Company Page posts?
Yes. PostEverywhere Analytics reports impressions, clicks, likes, comments and shares for each post you publish to a Company Page.
LinkedIn numbers are refreshed every 4 hours, the Posts tab sorts by impressions or likes, and the Delivery tab lists any LinkedIn post that failed with the reason. Personal profile posts are not covered because LinkedIn does not report post analytics for them.
Where do I see my scheduled LinkedIn posts?
In PostEverywhere’s content calendar and All Posts list, for profiles and Company Pages alike. Posts scheduled here wait in PostEverywhere until their time and then publish through LinkedIn’s official API, so they don’t sit in LinkedIn’s own scheduled list.
Filter the calendar by profile or Page, click a post to edit it, move it or delete it, and see after it goes out whether it published or failed, with LinkedIn’s reason so you can retry.
Can I schedule LinkedIn posts from my own code?
Yes. LinkedIn’s official API is the LinkedIn Marketing Developer Platform, and PostEverywhere’s REST API sits on top of it, so you schedule a LinkedIn post with one request and skip LinkedIn’s own app review and token work.
Posting through LinkedIn directly means registering a developer app, getting LinkedIn to approve the access your use case needs, running OAuth for each member and handling a multi-step media upload before the post itself is created. With PostEverywhere you connect the profile or Page once, create an API key on the Developers page, and send POST /v1/posts with the account ID. The API is on every plan, Lite included.
The LinkedIn API guide lists every field, and our walkthrough on scheduling LinkedIn posts with an API builds a working integration step by step.
Is there a LinkedIn MCP server that posts instead of scraping?
Yes. PostEverywhere runs a hosted LinkedIn MCP server that publishes to the profiles and Company Pages you connect, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client can draft, schedule and check LinkedIn posts for you.
Most LinkedIn MCP servers you will find on GitHub do something else: they scrape profiles or automate outreach by driving the website, which breaks when LinkedIn changes its pages. This one only writes posts, through the official API, to accounts you authorised. You add one connector address to your assistant and it gets tools such as create_post, list_accounts, upload_media_from_url and get_post_results. Setup for each assistant is on the AI agents page.
- Write a LinkedIn version of a blog post or transcript and schedule it.
- Target the Company Page or a named person’s profile.
- Save a draft instead of publishing when someone should read it first.
- Report which Company Page posts earned the most clicks.
Can ChatGPT or Claude post to my LinkedIn profile or Company Page?
Yes, once you connect them to PostEverywhere: Claude and ChatGPT then publish or schedule LinkedIn posts on your connected accounts when you ask in plain English.
In Claude you add PostEverywhere as a connector (Claude setup); in ChatGPT you add it as a custom MCP server (ChatGPT setup). Without a time the post goes out immediately, with one it is scheduled, and with “save it as a draft” it waits in your calendar. Ask the assistant to name the Page explicitly so company news never lands on a personal profile.
Can I auto post to LinkedIn without automating outreach?
Yes. Every post you schedule in PostEverywhere publishes automatically at its time, with no reminder to tap and no browser left open.
For a steady rhythm, set weekly openings in the posting queue and each new post takes the next free one; for volume, upload a CSV; for hands-off publishing, let the API or an AI agent add posts. PostEverywhere is a LinkedIn automation tool for publishing only: it does not send connection requests, messages, likes or comments on your behalf.
How do teams manage several LinkedIn profiles and Pages?
Connect each person’s profile and every Company Page to one PostEverywhere workspace and schedule them all from the same calendar.
Connected accounts run from 2 on Lite to 20 on Scale, counted across every network, and seats from 1 to 5. On Starter and above, Require approval holds posts written by Members until an owner or admin approves them, which suits employee advocacy programmes. Posting the same news to X as well? See posting to LinkedIn and X (Twitter) at the same time.
What can’t PostEverywhere post to LinkedIn?
PostEverywhere does not publish LinkedIn polls or Articles, cannot tag people with @mentions, and cannot add alt text to LinkedIn images; do those in LinkedIn itself.
A post also cannot be edited from PostEverywhere once LinkedIn has accepted it. Until then you can change anything; after it is live, edit it on LinkedIn or delete it and post again.

LinkedIn Page analytics
See which LinkedIn Company Page posts land, in Analytics
For Company Pages, Analytics reports impressions, clicks, likes, comments and shares on the posts you publish through PostEverywhere. Personal profiles do not report post analytics, so profile posts show whether they were published, not how they performed.
- Posts tab.
- Sort your Company Page posts by impressions or likes to see which topics and formats earn attention.
- Refreshed through the day.
- LinkedIn numbers are pulled again every 4 hours, so a Tuesday morning post has current results by the afternoon.
- Delivery tab.
- Any LinkedIn post that failed to publish is listed with the reason, so you can fix it and try again.

Profiles and Pages, side by side
See and manage every scheduled LinkedIn post, profile and Page
LinkedIn’s own view of scheduled posts covers one profile at a time. In PostEverywhere every scheduled post for every profile and Company Page sits in one content calendar, so a founder’s post and the Page announcement never land on the same morning by accident.
- Filter by profile or Page.
- See one person’s week or the whole team’s at once.
- Edit until it goes live.
- Rework the text, swap the PDF, change visibility or move the time.
- Published or failed, with the reason.
- Every post shows its status after its time, and a failure can be fixed and retried.

Why use a LinkedIn scheduler
Generate captions tuned for the LinkedIn feed, then post them consistently
What do you want to create today?
Share what we learned opening our second location. Professional, no hashtags.
1:1 image · 16:9 video · ≤3,000 chars
Opening a second coffee shop taught us more than the first one did.
Three things we would change: hire the opening team six weeks earlier, train on the full menu before launch day, and share the build every week so the neighbourhood already knows us.
If you have opened a second site, what would you add?
PostEverywhere publishes through the official LinkedIn Marketing Developer Platform, so posts go out on schedule without a phone reminder. Our guide to how the LinkedIn algorithm works covers ranking in full: in short, time spent reading, thoughtful comments and your relationship with the reader all count.
Write for the reader who stops. LinkedIn readers reward depth, a clear point of view and a takeaway they can use, and the first two lines decide whether anyone clicks “see more”. AI Studio drafts in your tone with LinkedIn’s limits in mind, and for quick drafts there is the free LinkedIn caption generator.
Document posts are worth a place in your mix. A PDF shows as a swipeable carousel, readers spend time paging through it, and a clear hook on slide one with a takeaway on the last slide gives them a reason to comment. Build one with the carousel maker and schedule it like any other post.
Personal profiles usually reach more people than Company Pages, because LinkedIn favours person-to-person content. Company Pages still matter for hiring, product news and credibility. A common pattern is to lead with the founder’s profile and run a separate, steadier cadence on the Company Page. Both sit in the same calendar here.
For employee advocacy, connect each colleague’s profile alongside the Company Page and schedule their own take on the news at staggered times, rather than identical reshares. Help the team tidy their profiles first with the LinkedIn headline generator, and time posts with our best time to post on LinkedIn guide.
The same idea can also go to X (Twitter), Threads, Bluesky, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Telegram, Discord and Google Business Profile through cross-posting, each in its own version.

Works with all AI agents
LinkedIn MCP server: let your agent post to LinkedIn
Most LinkedIn MCP servers on GitHub are scrapers that read profiles or automate outreach, and they break when LinkedIn changes its pages. PostEverywhere is a publishing server: it writes to LinkedIn through the official API on accounts you have authorised. Setup for every assistant is on the AI agents page, and the REST route is in our guide to scheduling LinkedIn posts with an API.
- Profile or Company Page by name.
- Say “post this to the company page, not my profile” and the agent picks the right account.
- Link preview cards.
- Share a URL with no image and PostEverywhere builds the clickable article card with its thumbnail, title and description.
- A longer cut for LinkedIn.
- One instruction can send a fuller, more formal version to LinkedIn while other channels get a shorter one.
- Now, later or a draft.
- Leave the time out and the post goes live straight away; add one and it is scheduled. Ask for a draft and it waits in your calendar for you to review.
- Not made by LinkedIn.
- PostEverywhere runs the server on the profiles and pages you connect. It publishes only; it never scrapes profiles or sends connection requests.
