Updates, offers and events for every location
Everything PostEverywhere does with Google Business Profile
Keep every Business Profile fresh on Google Search and Maps from one calendar.
- Plan every location.
- Every location's posts sit in one content calendar, so you can spot a location that has gone quiet.
- Local posts with AI.
- AI Studio drafts short local updates inside 1,500 characters and makes a photo to match.
- Updates, events and offers.
- Publish all three post types, with event dates and times, or an offer's coupon code, redeem link and terms.
- The right button.
- Add Book, Order online, Buy, Learn more, Sign up or Call now to updates and events.
- Delivery you can see.
- Google provides no per-post insights, so every post shows as published, or failed with the reason, and you can retry.
- Your agent keeps it fresh.
- Ask your AI agent to post this week's offer to every location with the right dates.

Google Business Profile post specs and limits
| What you post | What Google Business Profile accepts |
|---|---|
| Post types | Update, Event (a title plus start and end date and time) and Offer (a title, dates, and an optional coupon code, redeem link and terms) |
| Text | Up to 1,500 characters. Updates need text; on events and offers it is optional |
| Photo | One photo per post, JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB and at least 250 x 250 pixels |
| Video | Not supported. Google Business Profile posts carry one photo |
| Button | Book, Order online, Buy, Learn more, Sign up or Call now on updates and events. Offers show the offer instead of a button |
| Locations | Connect each business separately; each one counts as one account on your plan |
Google only accepts posts from verified Business Profiles, and it may turn down a post with a phone number in the text, so use the Call now button instead. Google also reviews some posts after they publish; if it rejects one later, PostEverywhere marks it as failed and shows Google’s reason.
Google Business Profile posts, answered
Google Business Profile scheduling questions, answered
What local businesses, multi-location brands and agencies ask before they schedule Google Business Profile posts. Request-level detail is in the Google Business Profile API guide.
Can you schedule posts on Google Business Profile?
Yes. PostEverywhere connects to your Business Profile with a Google sign-in and publishes each update, event or offer through Google’s Business Profile API at the date and time you choose.
The post then shows on your listing on Google Search and Maps, and every location you connect can have its own schedule.
What does Google Business Profile management cover in PostEverywhere?
PostEverywhere manages your Google Business Profile posts: updates, events and offers, planned and scheduled for every location from one calendar. Reviews, opening hours and business information stay in Google’s own Business Profile manager.
So the split is simple. Use PostEverywhere to keep each profile fresh with posts on a schedule, alongside your social accounts. Use Google’s tools to reply to reviews, answer questions, change your hours or address and manage the photo gallery, because PostEverywhere does not touch any of those.
What types of Google Business Profile posts can I schedule?
Updates, Events and Offers, the three post types Google allows through its API.
- Update: news, a seasonal menu or changed hours, with one photo and an optional button.
- Event: a title plus a start and end date and time, for a class, a tasting or an open day.
- Offer: a title and dates, plus an optional coupon code, a link to redeem online and terms.
- Product posts are not available through Google’s API, and hotels cannot publish offers under Google’s policy.
Which buttons can a Google Business Profile post have?
Updates and events can carry one button: Book, Order online, Buy, Learn more, Sign up or Call now. Offers show the offer details instead of a button.
Call now uses the phone number already on your profile, which is also the way to invite calls, because Google may refuse a post that has a phone number in its text.
Can I schedule posts for multiple Google Business Profile locations?
Why can’t I post to my Google Business Profile?
Google only accepts posts from verified Business Profiles, so verify your business on Google first, and sign in with a Google account that owns or manages the profile.
An unverified business can still be connected, but its posts are refused until Google verifies it. Google may also reject a post with a phone number in the text, and it reviews some posts after they publish and can remove them later.
Can I add photos or videos to Google Business Profile posts?
You can add one photo to each post, as a JPG or PNG up to 5 MB and at least 250 x 250 pixels. Video and multi-photo posts are not supported for Google Business Profile.
Google Business Profile planner and content calendar
PostEverywhere works as a Google Business Profile planner: every update, offer and event sits on the content calendar in week or month view with its location, beside your social accounts.
Drag a post to a new day before it goes out, and add weekly openings in the posting queue so each location gets a fresh post on a regular beat.
Does PostEverywhere show Google Business Profile post analytics?
No. Google stopped providing per-post insights for Business Profile posts, so PostEverywhere does not show views or clicks for them.
You do get delivery tracking: every post shows as published or failed with the reason, and you can fix and retry a failed one. Your other platforms keep their analytics.
Can AI write my Google Business Profile posts?
Yes. AI Studio drafts short local posts that fit Google’s 1,500-character limit from the facts you give it, and can create a photo to go with them.
Every draft opens in the composer so you can edit it before you schedule. Our industry guides show what to post: restaurants, real estate, gyms, salons and small businesses in general.
Can I schedule Google Business Profile posts from my own code?
For the full walkthrough, with request examples and common errors, see our Google Business Profile API guide.
Google has its own Business Profile API, and PostEverywhere’s REST API sits on top of it, so you schedule a post with one request and skip Google’s own API setup and token handling.
Send POST /v1/posts with the text, one photo, a scheduled_for time and the Google settings for the post type and button. The same request can include your social accounts too, and it is on every plan.
Is there a Google Business Profile MCP server?
Yes. PostEverywhere’s hosted MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client write and schedule Google Business Profile posts for every business you have connected. It is not made by Google.
An agent can even start the connection: create_connect_link returns a Google sign-in link to open and finish. Setup for each assistant is on the AI agents page.
Can ChatGPT or Claude post to my Google Business Profile?
Can I post to Google Business Profile from my phone?
Yes. Posting works from a computer or a phone, using the PostEverywhere web app in your phone’s browser. The native iPhone app does not include Google Business Profile yet.
Is Google Business Profile included on every plan?
Yes. Every plan includes Google Business Profile from Lite at $9/month, and there is no free plan.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. The trial needs a card, nothing is charged today and you can cancel before it ends.
Updates, offers and events
Choose the right Google Business Profile post type for every message
Pick the post type in the Google Business Profile panel of the composer. Updates suit news and menu changes, Events carry a title and a start and end time, and Offers carry the dates, a coupon code and a link to redeem online, so customers see the details right on your profile.

- News, new products on the shelf, changed hours or a seasonal menu, with one photo and an optional button.

Every location on one week
Plan your Google Business Profile content calendar for every location
Each business you connect sits in the content calendar beside your social accounts, so a chain with five locations can see which ones have gone quiet. Batch a month of updates in one sitting, drag an offer to a better day, and post the same news to every location at once, worded for each.
- Week and month views.
- Every post sits on its day with its location, so a busy week is easy to read.
- Drafts you finish later.
- Start an offer before the dates are confirmed and finish it when they are.
- Queue openings.
- Set weekly slots in the posting queue and each new post takes the next one.

All your Google Business Profile locations and clients in one place
One Google sign-in can bring in every business that account manages, and you choose which to add. Agencies and multi-location brands keep every profile next to the client’s Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, with workspaces to keep each client separate and team seats for the people who post.
- Pick locations per post.
- Tick one shop for a local event, or every location for news that applies to all of them.
- Approvals for clients.
- Send posts for review before they go live, on plans with more than one seat.

General starting points, not measured from your audience.
The posting queue handles the steady rhythm. Set weekly openings and every post you add takes the next free slot, so each location gets a fresh update on a regular beat. The presets are a starting point, so adjust them to suit your business.
Offers and events are where scheduling pays off most. Write the offer when you plan the promotion, set it to go out the morning it starts, and spend the day serving customers instead of posting. The same composer can send the news to Instagram, Facebook and your other accounts at once, each version tailored, with cross-posting.
Developers can do it in code too. The developer API schedules Google Business Profile posts with the same request used for every other platform, and the Google Business Profile API guide lists the post settings.

Google Business Profile MCP server: your agent posts to every location
One connector address gives Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client the tools to write and schedule Google Business Profile posts for the businesses you have connected. It is not made by Google, and setup for every assistant is on the AI agents page.
- Offers on the right dates.
- Ask for a weekend offer with a coupon code and the agent sets the post type, the dates and the code for you.
- Every location in one ask.
- Have the agent post the same news to each location, with the wording adjusted for each shop.
- The right button.
- Tell it “add a Book button to our booking page” and it sets the button and the link.
- Drafts when you want a look first.
- Ask for a draft and it waits in the calendar until someone publishes it. Agent posts do not go through approvals, so say “draft” when a person should check it.
- Publishing only, by design.
- The agent posts, schedules and fixes failed posts. It does not read or reply to reviews or change your business details.
