TikTok rejected my video or says picture_size_check_failed. What does it mean?

TikTok checks every file after we send it. picture_size_check_failed means TikTok rejected the dimensions or aspect ratio of the video or image. Export the video as vertical 9:16, at least 360 x 360 and at most 1080 x 1920, and post again.

Photo posts#

Images must be at least 360 x 360 pixels and under 20 MB each. PNG, HEIC and other formats are converted to JPEG automatically.

Where to see the reason#

Open the post on the Calendar or All posts. The failed TikTok destination shows TikTok's reason in plain words. Fix the file, then click retry on the post.
