How do I connect a social account?

Go to the Accounts page, click Add Account next to the platform, and sign in on that platform's screen. You come back to PostEverywhere with the account connected.

Steps#

1. Open Accounts in the sidebar.
2. Find the platform and click Add Account.
3. A sign-in window for that platform opens. Sign in and approve PostEverywhere. Tick every permission it asks for, or the connection fails.
4. You return to the Accounts page and the account appears in your list.

Before you click Add Account#

Platform	What you need
Facebook	A Facebook Page, and an admin role on it. Facebook signs you in as yourself first, then asks which Pages to share. We can never post to a personal profile.
Instagram	A Business or Creator account. Switch in the Instagram app under Settings, then Account type and tools. No Facebook Page is needed.
Threads	Any Threads profile. It connects the profile your browser is signed into.
LinkedIn	Your personal profile, a Company Page you admin, or both.
YouTube	A Google account that already has a YouTube channel.
TikTok	A public TikTok account. Posts to a private account fail.
X (Twitter)	Any X account. It connects the account your browser is signed into.
Pinterest	A Pinterest business account. Converting a personal one is free.
Bluesky	An app password from Bluesky, not your main password.
Telegram	A bot token from @BotFather, and the bot added as a channel admin that can post.
Discord	A webhook URL from your server (Manage Webhooks permission).
WordPress	Your site address, and a login with the Administrator, Editor or Author role.
Google Business Profile	The Google account that owns or manages a verified business on Google.

Connecting a different account on the same platform#

Platforms connect whichever account your browser is signed into. To add a second X or TikTok account, log out of that platform first (the Accounts page offers Open X Logout and Open TikTok Logout), then click Add Account again. For Facebook, Instagram or Threads, log out of that platform or use a private browser window.

Connecting from a phone#

On iPhone and Android, the Instagram app (and on Android the X app) often opens instead of the sign-in page, so the connection never finishes. The fastest fix is to connect from a computer. The Accounts page offers Email me a link for my computer. A private or incognito tab on the phone also works.

Account limits#

Each connected profile, Page, channel or site counts as one account. Lite includes 2, Starter 5, Growth 10 and Scale 20. When you reach the limit you see You have used all the accounts on your plan and an Add more button. On Scale, Add more adds 5 accounts for $15 a month. On other plans, upgrade in Settings > Plans.
