Account, privacy and security
Can PostEverywhere remove my personal information from Facebook, Instagram or other platforms?
No. PostEverywhere only publishes to accounts you connect. Each platform controls its own data. Use that platform's privacy tools or help centre.
No. PostEverywhere is a scheduling tool. It publishes to social accounts you connect and has no control over the data those platforms hold about you. To remove personal information from Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or any other service, use that platform's own privacy tools or contact that platform.
What PostEverywhere can do
- Disconnect an account on the Accounts page. Our access to it ends and the stored token is deleted.
- Delete your PostEverywhere account and everything in it. See How to delete your account.
What PostEverywhere cannot do
- Delete or change your profile, email address or phone number on another platform.
- Remove posts you published before using PostEverywhere.
- Find out who viewed your profile, or look up another person's account. No platform shares this with any app.
Where to go instead
Each platform has a privacy or help centre with its own request forms, usually under Settings, Privacy or Your information. If you think someone is misusing your data on a platform, report it to that platform.
For questions about the data PostEverywhere itself holds, see What data does PostEverywhere store? or email support@posteverywhere.ai.
