Channel posts through your own bot
Everything PostEverywhere does with Telegram
Plan the channel, write the posts and broadcast them on time through a bot you own.
- Plan the channel week.
- Every channel post sits in the content calendar, with queue openings for the regular ones.
- Posts written with AI.
- AI Studio drafts channel posts and announcements from rough notes.
- Albums, video and follow-ups.
- Send text, one image or an album of 2 to 10, video up to 50 MB and follow-up messages that arrive in order.
- Silent and protected posts.
- Send without a notification sound, stop forwarding and saving, set link previews or hide media behind a spoiler.
- Delivery you can see.
- Telegram reports no post analytics, so every post shows as published, or failed with the reason, and you can retry.
- Your agent broadcasts.
- Ask your AI agent to write and schedule tomorrow's channel update.
Setup
How to schedule a post to a Telegram channel
Telegram channels accept posts from bots, so the setup is a bot token and a channel rather than a social login. After that, scheduling works like any other account: write, pick a time, done.

Step 1
Create a bot.
Open a chat with @BotFather in Telegram, create a bot, and copy the token it gives you.

Telegram scheduling, answered
Telegram channel scheduling questions, answered
Straight answers to what channel owners ask before they put a Telegram channel on a schedule: bots, native scheduled messages, the Bot API and AI agents.
Can you schedule posts to a Telegram channel?
Yes. PostEverywhere schedules Telegram channel posts through a bot you create, and that bot sends each post at the date and time you pick.
The setup takes a few minutes once: create a bot with @BotFather, make it a channel admin with Post Messages switched on, then paste the bot token and the channel name into PostEverywhere. From then on a Telegram post is scheduled like any other: write it, choose a slot, and it goes out without you opening Telegram.
How do I send a scheduled message in the Telegram app?
Telegram has a built-in scheduled message option: type the message, press and hold the send button (right-click it on desktop) and choose Schedule message.
It is free and handy for a single chat, but it works one conversation at a time. A scheduler adds what the app lacks for a channel you run as a publication: a calendar of everything that is coming, a posting queue, every channel in one view, and drafts you can finish later.
Do I need a bot to schedule Telegram channel posts?
Yes, with any scheduling tool. Telegram only lets outside apps post to a channel through a bot that is an admin of that channel.
You make the bot once with @BotFather at no cost, and it stays yours: PostEverywhere never posts through a shared bot. Telegram shows the message as sent via your bot, so give it a name that suits the channel. If someone removes the bot or switches off its Post Messages permission, scheduled posts fail until the permission is back.
Can I schedule photos, albums and videos to a Telegram channel?
Yes. PostEverywhere sends text messages, a single photo, albums of 2 to 10 photos, and videos up to the 50 MB Bot API ceiling, each with an optional caption.
When the words run past Telegram’s 1,024-character caption limit and media is attached, the long text goes out as its own message first and the media follows without a caption, so nothing is cut off.
Can I schedule a series of Telegram messages that send in order?
Yes. Switch the composer to Thread mode, add follow-up messages, and the bot sends them one after another at the scheduled time, in the order you wrote them.
Each message keeps Telegram’s full 4,096 characters, which suits a headline, then the details, then the link. Our guide to Telegram for business covers how brands pace channel updates like these.
Can I schedule silent or protected Telegram posts?
Yes. Every scheduled Telegram post has its own delivery settings, chosen in the composer before it goes out.
- Silent post delivers without a notification sound.
- Protect content blocks forwarding and saving.
- Link preview can be left as it is, made large or small, turned off, or moved above the text.
- Spoiler and Caption above media change how a photo or video shows.
Can I manage multiple Telegram channels in one place?
Yes. Each Telegram channel connects as its own account in PostEverywhere, so you pick the channel per post and see every channel on one calendar.
That suits agencies and brands running a news channel beside a members channel, and makes managing several accounts for clients simple. Lite includes 2 connected accounts, Starter 5, Growth 10 and Scale 20, counted across every network you connect; see pricing.
Can I post to Telegram groups as well as channels?
PostEverywhere supports Telegram channels: connect a channel where your bot is an administrator with Post Messages on.
Posting to groups is not something we promise, so schedule to a channel. The bot does not send direct messages to individual users either.
Is there a free Telegram post scheduler?
Telegram’s own Schedule message option is free. PostEverywhere has no free plan: Lite costs $9 a month and includes Telegram.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You add a card to begin, $0 is due today, and you can cancel before the trial ends.
Telegram planner and content calendar
PostEverywhere works as a Telegram planner: every channel post sits on the content calendar in week or month view, beside your other channels.
Drag a post to a new day any time before it sends. A posting queue adds recurring openings, so a new post fills the next free slot and the channel keeps a steady rhythm.
Does PostEverywhere show Telegram analytics?
No. PostEverywhere does not report Telegram post analytics, and view counts are not pulled in, so check post views in Telegram itself.
What you do get is delivery tracking: every post shows as published, or failed with the reason Telegram gave, and a failed post can be retried once the cause is fixed.
Can I schedule Telegram channel posts from my own code?
Telegram’s official API for posting is the Telegram Bot API, and it has no built-in way to send a channel post at a future time. PostEverywhere’s REST API sits on top of it and adds the schedule.
You send one request with the text, media and a scheduled_for time, and PostEverywhere’s servers make the Bot API calls when the moment comes, so nothing of yours has to stay running. The same request format covers every other network you connect, and the API is on every plan. Our walkthrough on posting to Telegram with an API has a working example.
Is there a Telegram MCP server?
Yes. PostEverywhere’s hosted MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients schedule Telegram channel posts through your own bot and the Telegram Bot API.
It is not made by Telegram, and it is included on every plan. Setup for each assistant is on the AI agents page.
Can ChatGPT or Claude post to my Telegram channel?
Yes. Connect Claude or ChatGPT to PostEverywhere and ask in plain English: it writes the channel post and sends it now, schedules it, or saves a draft.
It can even connect the channel from the chat if you give it the bot token and channel name. Because a channel post notifies every subscriber, asking for a draft first is the safe habit for anything sensitive.
Can I auto post to a Telegram channel?
Yes. Once a post is scheduled, your bot publishes it on time with nobody online, and queue openings let a whole month of channel posts go out on their own.
For bigger batches, bulk scheduling loads up to 200 posts from one CSV, and the developer API lets your own systems create Telegram posts automatically.
Plan the channel week
Plan your Telegram content calendar, albums and launch videos included
A Telegram channel carries more than short text. Plan a 10-photo album from the harvest trip, a menu announcement and a launch video on one week of the content calendar, then drag any of them to a better day before the bot sends it. Set up a posting queue and new posts drop into the next opening, so the channel keeps a rhythm subscribers can predict.
- Albums of up to 10.
- Group 2 to 10 photos into one post so the trip, the event or the product range lands as a single swipeable set.
- Spoiler.
- Blur a photo or video until a subscriber taps it, for reveals, plot twists and prize results.
- Caption above media.
- Put the words on top of the photo instead of underneath, when the headline matters more than the picture.

Silent and protected posts
Silent posts, protected content and link previews
Each Telegram message keeps its own delivery settings, so a quiet weekend reading list and a launch announcement can go out from the same calendar with very different manners.
- Silent post.
- Subscribers get the message without a notification sound, good for late or low-priority updates.
- Protect content.
- Stop subscribers forwarding or saving a members-only message.
- Link preview.
- Keep the default, pick a large or small card, or send with no preview at all. Preview above text moves the card on top of your words.

Follow-up messages
Send a series of Telegram messages in order
Some updates are better as a short sequence: the headline, the details, then the link. Switch the composer to Thread, add your follow-up messages, and they arrive one after another at the scheduled time, in the order you wrote them.
- One schedule, several messages.
- The whole sequence is one entry in your calendar.
- Room to breathe.
- Each message gets the full 4,096 characters instead of cramming everything into one.
- 2
It will roast the single origins, so the shop gets fresher beans every week. Members get the first tour in February.

Channel announcements
Generate Telegram posts and announcements for members-only channels
Channel posts read best when they are direct: what is happening, when, and what to do next. AI Studio drafts announcements in that style, and since a channel message can run to 4,096 characters, it can write the full story rather than a teaser. The AI content generator helps when you need a fresh angle on a weekly update.
- Announcement-ready copy.
- Drafts for product drops, event reminders and members-only offers.
- Pair it with Protect content.
- Write the members-only offer, then switch on Protect content so it is harder to pass around.
- Edit before it sends.
- Every draft opens in the composer, so you approve the wording before it reaches anyone.

General starting points, not measured from your audience.
Write a month in one sitting. PostEverywhere is a social media scheduler for creators, brands and communities: bulk schedule a month of posts from a CSV, and automate the rest through the developer API or our walkthrough on posting to Telegram with an API.
Broadcast in the channel, talk elsewhere. A channel is a one-way broadcast to everyone who joined, and many communities pair it with a discussion space where members talk back. PostEverywhere schedules the channel side, the part that has to go out on time. Our guide to Telegram for business covers how brands set this up.
Announce it everywhere at once. If you also post the news elsewhere, cross-posting sends it to your other networks with a version written for each, and the content calendar shows the whole plan in one place.

Connect your assistant to the hosted MCP server and it can write a channel update, attach an image from a link, and send it through your bot at the hour your subscribers are awake. Your agent can post now, schedule for later, or save a draft for you to review, which is worth asking for when the wording matters, because every subscriber gets a channel post as a notification.
The same publishing is available to developers through the full API on every plan.
- Connect any AI agent.
- Add PostEverywhere to ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, Cursor or any other AI app that supports MCP with one address. It takes seconds.

Telegram MCP server: your agent posts through your own bot
PostEverywhere runs a hosted MCP server, so any assistant that supports MCP can send to the Telegram channels you connect, through your own bot. It is not made by Telegram; PostEverywhere runs it on your accounts. Setup for every assistant is on the AI agents page.
- Scheduled broadcasts.
- Give a time and timezone and the agent queues the message for when subscribers are awake. With no time, it posts straight away.
- Media from a link.
- The agent can fetch an image or video from a URL with upload_media_from_url and attach it.
- Drafts when you want them.
- Every subscriber is notified the moment a channel post sends, so ask for a draft when you want to read the wording before it goes out.
- Rules checked.
- The agent reads Telegram’s limits with get_platform_rules before it writes, so the message fits.
- Message series.
- For a run of follow-up messages, the agent writes the whole sequence and posts or schedules it, sending in the order written.
- Publishing, not chatting.
- The connector sends posts. It does not read replies or moderate comments.
