AI agents and API
Where can I see what my API keys and AI agents did?
Open Logs in the sidebar, under Developers. Every call from your API keys and AI agents is listed for 30 days, with what was sent and what came back.
Open Logs in the sidebar, just under Developers. It lists every call your API keys and AI agents made, with what was sent and what came back. Calls are kept for 30 days.
How to find a call
- Click Logs in the sidebar.
- Pick a time range: 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.
- Narrow the result: All, Succeeded or Failed.
- Use Made by to pick one key or assistant, or leave it on All keys and assistants.
- Type in the search box to Search path, tool, error or request ID.
- Click a row to open the full call.
Click Refresh to load new calls. New calls appear within seconds.
What a row shows
Each row has the Status (the HTTP status), the Call (what was done, for example the API path or the agent tool), Made by (which key or AI app), Time (how long it took) and When.
Above the list you see totals for the chosen range and key: Calls, Failed (with the failure rate) and Typical time.
What the detail panel shows
- For a failed call, the error code and the error message at the top.
- Time, Made by (with the key name), MCP tool when an agent made the call, Request ID, Post ID when the call concerned a post, and Client (the app or library that called).
- Request body: the JSON that was sent.
- Response: the JSON that came back. Successful reads keep only their status and timing, not the data they returned.
Passwords, tokens, keys and other secrets are removed before a call is saved.
Who can see the logs
- Owners and admins see every call made with any of the organisation's keys and agent connections.
- Members see only calls made with keys and connections they created themselves, for example the connection made when they connected Claude or ChatGPT. The page says so: "You see calls from keys and assistants you connected. Owners and admins see the whole organization."
- Logs are only available in the app, not through the API.
Tips
- Copy the Request ID when you contact support about a call. It lets us find it quickly. See How do I reach a human?.
- An empty page with No calls in the last 30 days means nothing has connected yet. Use Connect an AI agent to set one up. See Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to PostEverywhere.
- Failed calls usually name the fix in the error message. See Common API errors and how to fix them.
