How do I post to Google Business Profile with PostEverywhere?

Connect your Google Business Profile and publish posts to your business listing on Google Search and Maps.

What you need#

• A Google account that owns or manages the business on Google.
• A verified business. Google refuses posts on an unverified business. Verify at business.google.com.

Connect#

1. Open Accounts and click Add Account next to Google Business Profile.
2. Choose the Google account that manages the business.
3. Google asks to let PostEverywhere "see, edit, create and delete your Google business listings". Click Continue. PostEverywhere uses this only to publish your posts and check the connection.
4. If the account manages several businesses, pick the ones to add and click Connect selected.

Each business counts as one account on your plan. Google Business Profile is web only. The iPhone app does not support it.

Post types#

Choose the Post type in the Google Business Profile card of the post editor.

Post type	What you add
Update (default)	Text, an optional photo and an optional button
Event	A title, Starts and Ends dates
Offer	A title, start and end dates. Optional: Coupon code, Link to redeem online and Terms and conditions

Times are your business's local time, as Google shows them.

Buttons#

Update and event posts can have one Button: Book, Order online, Buy, Learn more or Sign up each need a Button link. Call now calls the phone number on your profile and needs no link. Offer posts have no button.

Limits#

Large photos are sent at a size Google accepts.

Good to know#

• Do not put phone numbers in the text. Google may reject the post. Use the Call now button.
• Google checks every post. Most go live in a few minutes.
• Hashtags do nothing here.
• Google gives no per-post results, so Analytics shows no views or clicks for these posts.
