Analytics
Why are analytics missing for some TikTok posts?
TikTok only reports stats for public videos. Private or self-only posts, older posts, and accounts connected before July 2026 show no numbers.
Updated 23 October 2026
TikTok only reports statistics for public videos. A post published as private or "only me" has no per-post analytics. Two other cases also leave a blank: posts published before TikTok analytics was added, and accounts that need a one-time reconnect.
Steps
- Open the post on TikTok and check its privacy. If it is private or only visible to you, TikTok does not return stats for it. Make it public on TikTok if you want numbers.
- If every TikTok post is blank, open Accounts and click Reconnect on the TikTok account. Accounts connected before 3 July 2026 do not have the permission TikTok needs for video stats. Approve all permissions.
- Click Refresh on the Analytics page. New numbers can take a few hours to arrive.
Details
- Posts published before per-video TikTok analytics was added cannot be filled in later.
- If your TikTok app settings make new posts private by default, change the privacy in the post's TikTok settings in PostEverywhere before publishing.
