Scheduling and publishing
What happens to my scheduled posts if an account is disconnected or my plan lapses?
Posts on a disconnected account are held, not failed, for up to 7 days and release when you reconnect. Nothing publishes while a plan is inactive.

Posts on an account that needs reconnecting are held, not failed. They wait for up to 7 days and go out as soon as you reconnect. Posts do not publish while your subscription is not active.
Account disconnected or needs reconnecting
- The post stays Scheduled with a note that says the account needs reconnecting and that the post is safe.
- It is checked again every 24 hours for up to 7 days after its scheduled time.
- When you reconnect the account on the Accounts page, held posts are released at once. A post whose time passed more than 6 hours ago is not sent automatically, so old content never goes out without you choosing to.
- After 7 days the post is marked Failed once. You can reschedule it.
- You do not get a "post failed" email for a held post.
If the account was removed from PostEverywhere entirely, the post fails with "Social account no longer connected. Please reconnect and try again."
Trial ended or subscription cancelled
- Scheduled posts do not publish while the subscription is not active. When their time comes they are marked Failed with "User subscription is not active".
- Posts in past due state (a payment failed but the plan is still open) keep publishing.
- Once you subscribe again, open each post and click Retry Failed, or schedule new posts.
Connected accounts and media
Connected accounts, media and drafts are kept. Nothing is deleted when a plan lapses.
