How do I buy more AI credits, and do credits roll over?

Click the credit counter in AI Studio and choose a pack. Bought credits never expire. Monthly plan credits reset with your billing period and do not roll over.

Buy a pack#

1. Open AI Studio and click the credit counter at the top. The Add AI credits window opens.
2. Choose 100 AI Credits for $5, 500 AI Credits for $20 (4 cents each), 2,000 AI Credits for $60 (3 cents each), or use Custom amount for 50 to 10,000 credits in steps of 10.
3. Pay with your saved card. The credits are added at once. Without a saved card you go through Stripe checkout first.

Packs are available on any paid plan or trial that has started a plan. They are charged on top of your plan.

Roll over rules#

• Monthly plan credits (10, 25, 100 or 500) reset at the start of each billing period. Unused ones are not carried over.
• Purchased credits stay until you use them. They are spent after your monthly credits run out.
• Monthly add-on credits (100 for $5 a month) reset with your plan credits.

Add credits every month#

If you often run out, add 100 credits a month for $5 in Settings > Billing > Add-ons, or click Add more in Settings > Usage. Not available during the trial or on App Store plans. Only the account owner can buy add-ons.

Failed generations#

Credits for a failed generation are refunded automatically.
