Can I edit or trim a video, add a hook or add captions?

No. PostEverywhere does not have a video editor. It cannot trim a video, add a hook, overlay text or burn in captions. Edit your video in another tool, then upload the finished file.

What you can do in PostEverywhere#

• Cover image: add a cover to a video and it becomes the thumbnail on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook Reels and Instagram Reels. In Bulk Upload use the cover or cover_timestamp column.
• Scripts: AI Studio writes YouTube Short and Story/Reel scripts with a hook and a call to action.
• Short clips: AI Studio makes 5 or 10 second videos from text, or animates an image.
• Captions as text: write the spoken words or a summary in the post caption. Platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube can add on-screen captions themselves after upload.

Tips#

• Export the final video as MP4 before uploading.
• Keep platform limits in mind: Instagram 15 minutes, TikTok 10 minutes, YouTube Shorts 3 minutes.
