How AI agents and API keys work with workspaces
An agent connection or API key is tied to the workspace that was selected when you set it up. Switch workspace in the app, then connect again.

An AI agent connection, or an API key, works in one workspace: the one that was selected in the app when you approved the connection or created the key. To work in another workspace, switch to it in the app and connect the agent again, or create a second key there.
Steps
- In the app, switch to the workspace you want from the sidebar.
- Connect the agent again from Agents, or create a new key on Developers › API Keys.
- In the agent, you can keep both connections. Give them different names, for example "PostEverywhere Client A" and "PostEverywhere Client B".
- Ask the agent to check: the
get_metool, orGET /v1/me, returns the workspace name it is working in.
Details
- Connected social accounts belong to your whole team and show in every workspace. Posts, media, campaigns and the calendar belong to a workspace.
- If you want an integration to see only one brand's accounts, create its key with Limit this key to specific accounts ticked. That key cannot see or post to other accounts, whatever the workspace.
- A key is also what an agent uses after you click Approve, so the same rules apply to both.
