Scheduling and publishing
How do best times to post work?
The When picker shows Best times when there is data for your accounts. Settings > Posting Queue has suggested schedules and your best times from results.
Updated 23 October 2026
Best times appear in two places: the composer's When picker shows Best times when there is data for your selected accounts, and Settings > Posting Queue offers Suggested schedules.
In the composer
- Open the When picker next to the publish button.
- Under Best times, pick a slot. The note under the list says what the suggestion is based on.
- Click Schedule.
In the Posting Queue
- Open Settings > Posting Queue.
- Set the Timezone for the queue.
- Add posting times per day, or click one of the Suggested schedules. The first three are general guidance, not measured from your audience. When your own posts give enough data, a fourth schedule called your best times comes from real results.
- Review, adjust and save.
When you create a post, choose Next queue opening and it takes the next free slot. The queue page lists the Next openings.
Details
- Measured best times are based on posts published through PostEverywhere and how they performed. New accounts see general guidance until there is data.
- An AI agent connected to PostEverywhere can ask for your best times and schedule around them.
