What's the best Blotato alternative? PostEverywhere is the best Blotato alternative for creators and automation builders who want AI content, reliable posting and an AI agent route in one account: PostEverywhere AI Studio for captions, images and video, a hosted MCP server that Claude and ChatGPT can sign in to, and a REST API with signed webhooks, on every plan from $9 a month. It also publishes to Telegram, Discord, WordPress and Google Business Profile, which Blotato does not. Among the other Blotato alternatives, Upload-Post suits video pipelines built in n8n or Make, Postiz suits people who want to self-host, Zernio suits developers pricing by the account, and Buffer suits simple scheduling.
Blotato has earned its following. It combines AI content creation for solo creators with official n8n and Make nodes that made it popular with automation builders, and it now presents itself as a unified API and MCP server for posting, comments, DMs and analytics.
If you want AI avatar videos, whiteboard infographics and carousels generated from a template and then posted, all in one place, it does that well, and this post will say so where it applies.
But the people searching for Blotato alternatives usually hit one of the same few walls:
- The trial does not include the API or MCP server. Per Blotato's billing help page, generating an API key ends the 7-day trial immediately and starts your paid plan. For an n8n builder, that means paying before testing the part you came for.
- Nine networks. There is no Telegram, Discord, WordPress or Google Business Profile, and analytics cover every network except LinkedIn.
- Plan caps that bite on Starter. The $29 Starter plan allows 200 queued scheduled posts at a time, 1,250 AI credits a month and a 400 MB upload limit, per Blotato's plan limits reference. The next plan up is $97.
Every price below was checked on each vendor's own site in October 2026. Where a vendor does not publish a figure, this post says so rather than guessing.

1. PostEverywhere: Best Blotato Alternative for AI Agents and Creators

Publishes to all top platforms
Why PostEverywhere wins
- It's simple. One composer for every platform: write the post once, tweak the caption per platform, check the live preview for each account and schedule it.
- One flat price, nothing locked away. From $9 a month. Every plan includes unlimited posts, the full API, the hosted MCP server and AI Studio, with no per-channel fees.
- Every top platform in one place. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Threads and Pinterest, plus Bluesky, Telegram, Discord, WordPress and Google Business Profile.
- Your AI agent can run it. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor in about a minute and ask it to plan, write and schedule your posts.
- Create in the same tool. AI Studio makes captions, images and video, so you don't need a second app before you post.
How PostEverywhere works
- Connect your accounts. Link your social accounts once, across all top platforms.
- Create the post. Write it in the composer, make images and video in AI Studio, or ask Claude or ChatGPT to draft and schedule it for you.
- Schedule it everywhere. Tweak the caption for each platform, check every preview, and it goes out on time from one calendar.
Switching from Blotato?
| Blotato | PostEverywhere | |
|---|---|---|
| What an AI agent can do (MCP) | Has an MCP server | Publish, schedule, queue, best time, bulk, retry, connect accounts |
Connect your accounts, then schedule your first post from the composer or ask your AI agent to do it. Your Blotato account keeps running until you cancel it.
Built for AI agents
- Agents do the whole job. A full hosted MCP server with up to 44 tools: publish, schedule, use your queue or the best time, bulk-schedule 50 posts at once, check results, retry failures and send links to connect new accounts. Some rival MCP servers only read data or create drafts.
- $29 a month for 10 accounts, flat. Full API and agent access included, with no per-channel, per-seat or per-call fees. The same 10 accounts cost $60 a month on Buffer and $99 per user (billed annually) on Hootsuite.
- Nothing gated. API, MCP and webhooks come with every plan, from Lite. Several rivals keep their API for higher tiers or a sales call.
- Connected in a minute. One click adds PostEverywhere to Claude, with one-click installs for Cursor and VS Code. ChatGPT adds it under Plugins.
Plans: Lite $9 a month (2 accounts), Starter $19 (5), Growth $29 (10), Scale $39 (20). Every plan includes unlimited posts, the full API, the hosted MCP server and AI Studio.
“This tool has truly made my content posting so much easier, I can't work without it. I can schedule my posts days in advance while working on other projects. Set it and forget it.”
Also in PostEverywhere: a posting queue, bulk upload from CSV, approvals, analytics, an API and the iPhone app.
PostEverywhere is the agentic social media scheduler: one account that your AI agent, your automations and your own hands all post through. Where Blotato keeps its API and MCP server behind a paid subscription, PostEverywhere includes the REST API, signed webhooks, the hosted MCP server and AI Studio on every plan, and adds the platforms Blotato leaves out.
Full disclosure: I built PostEverywhere, so weigh this section accordingly. Here is what a creator or automation builder actually gets.
AI content in the same tool you post from. AI Studio writes captions, generates images and makes video, so you can go from an idea to a finished post without a second subscription.
The built-in AI Assistant in the web app answers questions about your schedule and drafts posts for you to review before anything goes out.
An AI agent route that works where you already are. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another AI agent to PostEverywhere's hosted MCP server in about a minute. In Claude and ChatGPT you paste one URL and sign in, with no key to copy.
The server's 44 tools let the agent plan, write, schedule and publish posts, upload media, and read analytics and your best times to post. Setup is one URL and a sign-in, covered step by step below.
n8n without a custom node. n8n's built-in MCP Client Tool connects an AI Agent node to the same hosted server, so one workflow can write and schedule to every account you have connected. The PostEverywhere n8n setup takes about two minutes.
If you prefer fixed workflows over an agent, the social media API works from an HTTP Request node, with published limits of 60 requests a minute and 1,000 an hour per key and bulk create of up to 50 posts per call.
Posting you can trust at volume. One composer lets you write once, customise per platform and see live previews for each account. You get a content calendar, a posting queue that fills your time slots for you, and bulk scheduling by CSV, up to 200 posts per file. Posts are unlimited on every plan.
All top platforms. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Telegram, Discord, WordPress and Google Business Profile, all from PostEverywhere's scheduler.
Teams and on the go. Workspaces per brand or client, roles and post approvals (approvals are on Starter and above), plus the PostEverywhere iPhone app.
Pricing: Lite $9/mo (2 accounts), Starter $19/mo (5), Growth $29/mo (10), Scale $39/mo (20). Every plan includes unlimited posts, the REST API, the hosted MCP server, webhooks and AI Studio, with no per-channel or per-user add-ons.
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and a card is required.
The catch: PostEverywhere has no free plan, and it is not self-hostable. It does not reply to comments or DMs and has no social listening or unified inbox, so if comment replies and DM automations on Instagram and Facebook are central to your workflow, Blotato or Zernio fit that job better.
And plans top out at 20 accounts on Scale, while Blotato's Starter already allows 20 and its Agency plan goes to 100.
Want Blotato's AI-plus-agent workflow on more platforms? PostEverywhere gives you AI Studio, a hosted MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT, and a REST API across all top platforms, from $9. Start a 7-day trial.
Why Choose PostEverywhere?
If you want AI content, dependable posting and an AI agent that can run the whole thing, PostEverywhere is the best choice on this list, because it is the only one that bundles all three on every plan across all top platforms.
- API and MCP on every plan. PostEverywhere includes the REST API and hosted MCP server on every plan, from $9 a month. Blotato's trial excludes the API and MCP server, and generating an API key ends the trial and starts billing.
- More places to post. PostEverywhere publishes to Telegram, Discord, WordPress and Google Business Profile as well as the big networks. Blotato stops at 9 networks and has no analytics for LinkedIn.
- No queue ceiling. Posts are unlimited on every PostEverywhere plan. Blotato's Starter plan caps you at 200 queued scheduled posts, and lifting that means its $97 Creator plan.
- Content and posting in one place. PostEverywhere's AI Studio covers captions, images and video next to the calendar and queue. Upload-Post and Zernio are posting pipes, so the content has to come from somewhere else.
- Built for people as well as code. PostEverywhere adds PostEverywhere's content calendar, live previews per account, workspaces and PostEverywhere's approval workflow. Zernio and Upload-Post are API-first, and Buffer charges per channel, so 10 channels on Essentials cost $50 a month against $29 on PostEverywhere Growth.
- No posting cap for automations. PostEverywhere sets no posting cap of its own (platforms enforce their own limits), with bulk create of up to 50 posts per call. Blotato's create-post route allows 30 requests a minute.
See the plans and what each includes, then start a 7-day free trial and connect your accounts in minutes.
2. Upload-Post: For Video Pipelines in n8n and Make
Upload-Post is the Blotato alternative most n8n builders find next, and it openly positions itself that way. It is a posting API built around video: one call pushes a clip to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and the rest, with media processing handled for you.
Its plans are priced by "profile", where one profile holds one account per platform. There is a free plan with 2 profiles and 10 uploads a month (TikTok is not included on free), then Basic at $24/month for 5 profiles, Professional at $50/month for 25, Advanced at $147/month for 75 and Business at $438/month for 225.
Annual billing cuts those by 40%, and paid plans include unlimited uploads. Seats are capped at 1 on Basic and 2 on Professional.
For automation builders, this is where it shines. It ships an official n8n community node with a setup guide, Make integration, Python and Node SDKs, and an open-source MCP server with 40 tools that runs hosted or locally through npm.
It covers 22 platforms, including Reddit, Discord, Telegram and Google Business Profile. If you have handled TikTok uploads yourself, our TikTok posting API guide shows the work a service like this removes.
Upload-Post vs Blotato in one line: a cheaper, wider posting pipe for n8n and Make, without Blotato's AI visual templates.
The catch: it does not generate your content. If you used Blotato for AI avatar videos, carousels or infographics, you will need a separate tool for that, then pipe the finished files into Upload-Post.
Its plans are also built around the API rather than a team calendar, so check the review and approval features you need before moving people onto it.
3. Postiz: For AI Video Credits and Self-Hosting

Postiz is the open-source scheduler, licensed under AGPL-3.0 with more than 37,000 stars on GitHub. It is the closest like-for-like Blotato alternative on the content side, because its hosted plans include AI image and video credits alongside scheduling.
The hosted plans are priced by channels: Standard at $29/month (5 channels, no team members, 3 AI videos a month), Team at $39 (10 channels, 100 AI images and 10 AI videos), Pro at $49 (30 channels) and Ultimate at $99 (100 channels).
Each plan also includes AI clipping minutes for turning long videos into shorts. There is a 7-day trial, and annual billing saves about 20%.
Every hosted plan includes the public API, webhooks and a hosted MCP server. Its MCP documentation lists 13 tools covering accounts, scheduling, and image and video generation, and it connects with an API key or OAuth. For n8n there is a published custom node.
Our Postiz alternatives guide and PostEverywhere vs Postiz comparison cover it in more depth.
Postiz vs Blotato in one line: AI media credits plus scheduling at a similar price, and the only option here you can run on your own server.
The catch: the $29 Standard plan has no team members and only 5 channels, so a creator with a few brands quickly lands on Team or Pro. Self-hosting is free in licence terms but not in effort: you register your own developer app for each network and keep a Docker stack patched.
And its MCP server is smaller, at 13 tools against 40 or more on Upload-Post and PostEverywhere.
4. Zernio (formerly Late): For Per-Account API Pricing

Zernio is the developer API previously called Late (getlate.dev now redirects to zernio.com). It suits automation builders whose account count is unpredictable, because it prices by connected account rather than by plan.
The pricing is graduated: your first 2 connected accounts are free, accounts 3 to 10 cost $6 each a month, 11 to 100 cost $3 each, and anything over 100 costs $1 each.
Every feature is included on every account, with unlimited posting. Beyond publishing, it covers comments, reviews and DMs across several networks, WhatsApp, ads and a blogs API for WordPress, Shopify and Wix.
Rate limits are published: 60 requests a minute on the free tier and 600 on paid usage.
For agents, its hosted MCP server supports OAuth or an API key, and keeps about 50 tools visible while loading the long tail on demand. Its pricing page says it works with n8n, Make and Zapier.
Zernio vs Blotato in one line: a broader API with inbox and ads, billed per account, but no content generation.
The catch: there is no AI content side, so it replaces Blotato's posting and engagement but not its visuals. The product surface (posting, messaging, ads, phone numbers) is a lot to evaluate if you only need to publish.
And at 10 accounts it costs $48 a month, more than Blotato's $29 for 20. For a developer-first comparison, see our Ayrshare alternatives guide.
Want the agent and the content in one account? PostEverywhere pairs AI Studio with a hosted MCP server and REST API on every plan, from $9. See the plans.
5. Buffer: For Simple Scheduling With an AI Agent Connector

Buffer is the long-standing simple scheduler, and it now has an MCP server too. If what you liked about Blotato was handing your posting to Claude or ChatGPT, and you do not need AI video, it is a straightforward option.
Buffer charges per channel: Essentials is $5 a month per channel and Team is $10 per channel, with a free plan for up to 3 channels and 10 scheduled posts per channel.
Its AI Assistant helps write and rewrite posts on every plan. It covers Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon and Substack.
Per Buffer's MCP page, MCP access is included on every plan and connects with OAuth or a personal API key. It lists Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, n8n and Zapier among supported clients, and the agent can create and schedule posts, manage the queue, save ideas and check your channels.
Posts created by an agent land in your Buffer queue as drafts or scheduled posts. Our Buffer alternatives guide covers its trade-offs in full.
Buffer vs Blotato in one line: a calmer, simpler scheduler with an agent connector, but none of Blotato's AI media generation.
The catch: per-channel pricing adds up: 10 channels on Essentials cost $50 a month and 20 cost up to $100 (Buffer says the per-channel rate drops above 10 channels but does not publish it).
There is no image or video generation, the API is capped by monthly requests on each plan, and it does not post to Telegram, Discord or WordPress.
What 10 connected accounts cost on each Blotato alternative
Headline prices hide the pricing model, so here is the same job priced on each tool: one creator or small team posting to 10 social accounts.
| Tool | Monthly cost for 10 accounts | What you get for it | What an AI agent can do (MCP) |
|---|---|---|---|
| PostEverywhere | $29 (Growth) | AI Studio, hosted MCP server, REST API, webhooks, unlimited posts | Publish, schedule, queue, best time, bulk, retry, connect accounts |
| Blotato | $29 (Starter, up to 20 accounts) | 1,250 AI credits, 200 queued posts, API and MCP | Has an MCP server |
| Upload-Post | $24 to $50 | 5 profiles on Basic (one account per platform each), 25 on Professional | – |
| Postiz (hosted) | $39 (Team) | 10 channels, AI images and videos by credit | Draft, schedule, publish |
| Zernio | $48 | 2 free, then 8 × $6; no content generation | Has an MCP server |
| Buffer | $50 (Essentials) | AI Assistant for writing, MCP, per-channel billing | Draft, schedule, publish, analytics |
Blotato and PostEverywhere tie at 10 accounts, and Blotato's Starter covers up to 20, so on account count alone it is good value. The difference is what sits around that number, which PostEverywhere's pricing page lays out plan by plan.
PostEverywhere adds Telegram, Discord, WordPress and Google Business Profile, unlimited scheduled posts instead of a 200-post queue, and an API and MCP server on every plan, including the $9 Lite plan.
If you need more than 20 accounts, Blotato's Creator and Agency plans or Postiz's Pro plan go further than PostEverywhere's Scale plan.
What Blotato Does Well (and Where It Falls Short)
Credit where it is due. Blotato's content side is genuinely strong for creators. Its homepage describes AI avatar videos with generated B-roll, whiteboard and chalkboard infographics, tutorial and Instagram carousels, slideshows and quote cards, all from a template and a prompt.
Its "Sources" feature turns a YouTube link, an article, a PDF or an audio file into posts ready to publish, and its visual templates use ElevenLabs voices for narration. For a solo creator who wants one tool that makes and posts short-form content, that bundle is the reason it grew.
Its agent and automation story is also good. The MCP setup guide covers Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, with OAuth sign-in or an API key.
It has official n8n and Make nodes, and its MCP tools reach beyond posting into Instagram and Facebook comments, DMs and DM automations, which PostEverywhere does not do.
Where it falls short is in the details an automation builder hits first:
- Paying before testing the API. The trial excludes the API and MCP server, and an API key ends the trial on the spot.
- Platform coverage. Nine networks, no Telegram, Discord, WordPress or Google Business Profile, and no LinkedIn analytics.
- Starter caps. 200 queued scheduled posts, a 400 MB upload limit and 25 analytics metric fields on the $29 plan.
- Rate limits. Per Blotato's rate limits page, creating a post is limited to 30 requests a minute, and on Starter TikTok posting is limited to 3 distinct TikTok accounts in a rolling 24 hours.
- The price step. Going past Starter's limits means Creator at $97 a month, more than three times the price.
None of that makes Blotato a bad product. It makes it a creator-first content studio with an API attached, which is why automation builders and people running AI agents end up comparing alternatives.
How to Choose the Right Blotato Alternative
Start with the job you were using Blotato for, not the feature list:
If an AI agent will do the posting, check which clients the MCP server signs in to and whether you can use it before paying. PostEverywhere, Postiz, Zernio and Buffer all include MCP access on their plans.
Our ranking of social media tools for AI agents compares every official server, and how to use Claude for social media shows what a good session looks like.
If you build fixed workflows in n8n or Make, Upload-Post's official n8n node and Make integration are the most direct swap for Blotato's nodes. PostEverywhere fits n8n through the MCP Client Tool or an HTTP Request node, and Make or Zapier through a raw JSON request, as our Zapier guide shows.
If you mostly want AI-generated video and visuals, Postiz's AI credits are the nearest match on the scheduler side, and PostEverywhere's AI Studio covers captions, images and video. For dedicated repurposing tools, see our content repurposing tools roundup.
If you post to Telegram, Discord, WordPress or Google Business Profile, PostEverywhere covers all four alongside the big networks.
If replying to comments and DMs is central, Zernio covers comments, reviews and DMs across several networks, and Blotato itself remains strong for Instagram and Facebook DM automations.
If you must self-host, Postiz is the only option here.
If you want one account for your agent, your automations and your team, PostEverywhere is the pick: the same login serves the PostEverywhere MCP server, the PostEverywhere API, a shared calendar and approvals.
Moving Your Blotato Workflows to PostEverywhere
Most switches take an afternoon, because the moving parts map cleanly:
Reconnect your accounts. Connect your social accounts in PostEverywhere, including any Telegram channels, Discord servers, WordPress sites or Google Business Profiles you could not post to before.
Swap the agent connection. In Claude or ChatGPT, add PostEverywhere's MCP server URL and sign in. In Claude Code or Cursor, add your API key instead. The Claude setup page, ChatGPT setup page and PostEverywhere MCP docs have the exact steps, and our walkthrough of scheduling posts with MCP shows a full session.
Swap the n8n node. Replace the Blotato node with n8n's MCP Client Tool pointed at PostEverywhere, attached to your AI Agent node, or call the REST API from an HTTP Request node. Your triggers (RSS, schedule, form) stay as they are.
Move your content creation. Generate captions, images and video in AI Studio, or let your agent do it through the same MCP connection.
Fill the schedule. Use bulk scheduling in PostEverywhere to upload a CSV of up to 200 posts, or set PostEverywhere's posting queue and let the agent drop posts into the next open slots.
For broader options beyond these five, our social media automation tools guide and social media APIs roundup cover no-code and developer routes.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best Blotato alternative?
PostEverywhere is the best Blotato alternative for creators and automation builders. It combines AI Studio for captions, images and video with a hosted MCP server that Claude and ChatGPT can sign in to and a REST API with signed webhooks, on every plan from $9 a month.
It also publishes to Telegram, Discord, WordPress and Google Business Profile, which Blotato does not.
How much does Blotato cost?
As of October 2026, Blotato starts at $29 a month. Starter includes 20 accounts and 1,250 AI credits, Creator is $97 (40 accounts, 5,000 credits) and Agency is $499 (up to 100 accounts, 28,000 credits). Yearly billing saves about 17%.
Every plan has a 7-day trial with a card required, and there is no free plan.
Does the Blotato free trial include the API and MCP server?
No. Blotato's trial includes the web app and 60 AI credits but not the API or MCP server, and generating an API key ends the trial immediately and starts your paid plan.
PostEverywhere includes the REST API and hosted MCP server on every plan, from $9 a month.
Which Blotato alternative works best with n8n?
Upload-Post is the most direct swap, with an official n8n community node, Make integration and an open-source MCP server. PostEverywhere works in n8n through the built-in MCP Client Tool, so an AI Agent node can write and schedule to all top platforms, or through the REST API from an HTTP Request node.
Does Blotato work with Claude and ChatGPT?
Yes. Blotato's hosted MCP server connects to Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor and other clients with OAuth or an API key, but only on a paid plan. PostEverywhere's hosted MCP server also works in Claude and ChatGPT with a sign-in, and in Cursor and Claude Code with an API key.
Which platforms does PostEverywhere support that Blotato does not?
Telegram, Discord, WordPress and Google Business Profile. Blotato publishes to X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky and Pinterest, and PostEverywhere covers all of those too.
Can Blotato alternatives reply to comments and DMs?
Some can. Zernio covers comments, reviews and DMs across several networks, and Upload-Post's MCP server includes comments and DMs. PostEverywhere focuses on creating, scheduling and publishing, and does not reply to comments or DMs, so if Instagram and Facebook DM automations are central to your workflow, Blotato remains a strong fit for that part.
Ready to switch from Blotato? PostEverywhere gives your AI agent, your n8n workflows and your team one account: AI Studio, a hosted MCP server and a REST API across all top platforms. Start your 7-day trial.
