What are Claude connectors? Connectors let Claude reach into the apps you already use, read what is there and take actions for you, from drafting an email in Gmail to designing a post in Canva or publishing it to Instagram. They are built on the open Model Context Protocol, and according to Claude's help center they are available to all users on Claude, Claude Desktop, Cowork and the mobile apps.
Claude's directory now covers everything from design tools to CRMs. This list is the 10 we would add first if your job is marketing or content: planning it, making it, publishing it and reporting on it. Picks 2 to 10 are Anthropic verified in Claude's directory, made by the company that owns the app, and checked against their official listings on 1 October 2026.
One disclosure up front: we make PostEverywhere, which is #1 on this list. It connects to Claude as a custom connector: you paste one URL under Customize > Connectors and sign in, rather than picking it from Claude's directory list. It is first because publishing is the step most marketing workflows in Claude are missing, not because the rest are worse.

How we chose these Claude connectors
We started from Claude's connector directory and kept only connectors that met four tests (PostEverywhere, our own pick, is the exception to the first):
- Anthropic verified and first-party. The connector is published by the company that owns the app (Canva builds the Canva connector, Google builds Gmail and Drive), not a third-party wrapper.
- Useful for content work. It helps with at least one stage of the job: planning, creating, approving, publishing or measuring.
- Read and write. Claude can act, not just look. A connector that only searches is useful, but one that can draft, create or publish saves real time.
- Sign-in, not shared keys. Every connector here asks you to sign in to your own account, so Claude only sees what you can see.
Under the hood, every connector is an MCP server; our roundup of social media MCP servers explains how they differ for publishing. We left out connectors that are mainly for developers or a single industry. You will find a few of those in the "other connectors" section further down.
1. PostEverywhere: publish and schedule social posts from Claude
PostEverywhere is the connector that gets content out of the conversation and onto social media. Connect it once and Claude can list your connected accounts, write a version of each post for every platform, attach images or video from a link, and schedule or publish to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Telegram, Discord and WordPress. It can also check whether a post went out, read your overall analytics and retry a failed post.
What to ask Claude:
- "Turn this blog post into a LinkedIn post, an X (Twitter) thread and an Instagram caption for the attached image, and schedule them for Tuesday at 9am."
- "What did we publish last week, and did anything fail?"
- "One of yesterday's posts failed on Instagram. Find out why and retry it."
Good to know: you add it as a custom connector (paste one URL, then sign in with OAuth), so there is nothing to install and no API key to paste. Scheduled posts land in your PostEverywhere calendar, and Claude can save posts as drafts instead, so nothing has to go live until you have reviewed it. From June to September 2026, 83% of the AI assistant connections to PostEverywhere came from Claude, as our State of AI Agents in Social Media report shows. Plans start at $9/month with a 7-day trial. The two-minute setup is in our Claude connection guide.
Want Claude to publish for you? Add PostEverywhere as a connector and schedule a week of posts across all top platforms from one chat. See how AI agents connect to PostEverywhere.
2. Canva: create and export designs from Claude
The Canva connector lets Claude search your Canva designs, read what is on each page, generate new designs and export finished files. It also handles the admin: creating folders, moving designs and adding comment threads for reviewers.
What to ask Claude:
- "Find our Q4 product launch carousel in Canva and summarize what each slide says."
- "Generate three Instagram post designs for this announcement."
- "Export the final version of the webinar banner as a PNG."
Good to know: made by Canva and added to Claude's directory in November 2025. Pair it with PostEverywhere and Claude can design the image and schedule the post in the same conversation. For more on making visuals with AI, see our AI image generator.
3. Adobe: edit photos, PDFs and video with Adobe apps
The Adobe connector brings capabilities from Acrobat, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Firefly, Premiere, Adobe Express, InDesign and Adobe Stock into Claude. You describe what you want and Adobe does the work: editing a batch of photos, creating marketing assets from templates, organizing and redacting PDFs, or resizing video for different platforms. Once the files are ready, PostEverywhere's cross-posting handles a version for each network.
What to ask Claude:
- "Resize this product video for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn."
- "Edit these five event photos so the lighting matches."
- "Combine these three PDFs into one proposal and redact the pricing page."
Good to know: made by Adobe and added in April 2026, so it is one of the newer connectors on this list. With 67 tools in its listing, it covers more ground than any other connector on this list, which makes it the one to add if your team already pays for Adobe apps.
4. Notion: plan and write in your Notion workspace
The Notion connector lets Claude search your workspace, read pages, create and update pages and databases, and leave comments. For content teams that run their calendar, briefs or brand guidelines in Notion, this is how Claude gets that context.
What to ask Claude:
- "Read our brand voice page in Notion and rewrite this caption to match it."
- "Create a content brief page for each topic in this list, using our brief template."
- "Add these five post ideas to the content calendar database with Draft status."
Good to know: made by Notion and added in November 2025. If your content calendar lives in Notion, Claude can read the plan there and publish it through PostEverywhere. Our free content calendar templates work well as a starting structure.
5. Google Drive: find and read your files
The Google Drive connector lets Claude search your Drive, read Docs, Sheets, Slides and PDFs, and create, copy, share or update files. It finds documents even when you do not remember the exact file name, which is most of the battle in a shared drive.
What to ask Claude:
- "Find last month's social media report in Drive and pull out the three biggest numbers."
- "Read the campaign plan spreadsheet and list every post that is due this week."
- "Create a doc summarizing this conversation and save it in the Q4 folder."
Good to know: made by Google and added in March 2026, alongside Google's Gmail and Google Calendar connectors. A spreadsheet of planned posts in Drive plus the PostEverywhere connector is a fast route to bulk scheduling from a chat.
6. Gmail: draft replies and search your inbox
The Gmail connector lets Claude search threads, read whole conversations, draft replies, send or forward messages, and manage labels and filters. Claude's directory lists 29 tools for it.
What to ask Claude:
- "Find the email thread with the influencer agency and summarize what we agreed."
- "Draft a reply to the latest partnership request, but do not send it."
- "Label every newsletter from this week so I can read them later."
Good to know: made by Google and added in March 2026. Because it can send email, ask Claude for drafts rather than sends, and on Team and Enterprise plans have an Owner set its send tools to "Needs approval" (see Are Claude connectors safe?).
7. Slack: read channels and post updates
The Slack connector lets Claude search public and private conversations you can access, read channels and threads, send messages, and create or update Slack canvases. It is how Claude catches up on what the team decided while you were away.
What to ask Claude:
- "Summarize what the content channel discussed about the product launch this week."
- "Post the approved social schedule for next week in #marketing."
- "Create a canvas with this campaign brief and share it with the team."
Good to know: made by Slack and added in November 2025. Combined with PostEverywhere, Claude can schedule the posts and tell the team they are queued in one go.
8. HubSpot: CRM and campaign data in Claude
The HubSpot connector brings your CRM into Claude: contacts, companies, deals, tickets and campaigns. For marketers, the useful part is analytics: Claude can read campaign data and content analytics across emails, landing pages and blog posts, and the listing also mentions campaign attribution reports.
What to ask Claude:
- "Which blog posts drove the most contacts last month?"
- "Summarize how the October webinar campaign performed across email and landing pages."
- "List the companies that came from social media this quarter."
Good to know: made by HubSpot and added in November 2025. It respects HubSpot's existing permissions, so people only see the records they could see in HubSpot. For the social side of reporting, see our social media analytics.
9. Asana: turn plans into tasks
The Asana connector lets Claude search, create and update tasks, create projects, and read portfolios and status overviews. Its listing shows 15 tools.
What to ask Claude:
- "Create a task for each post in this campaign plan in the content team's project, due on its publish date."
- "What is overdue in the social media project?"
- "Give me a status summary of every project in the Q4 marketing portfolio."
Good to know: made by Asana and added in November 2025. If posts need sign-off before they go out, PostEverywhere's approval workflow keeps approvals next to the post. If your team runs on monday.com instead, its connector is in the "other connectors" section below.
10. Miro: brainstorm boards and workshop summaries
The Miro connector lets Claude summarize and search your boards, and build new ones from scratch with frames, sticky notes, diagrams, tables and docs. It suits campaign brainstorms, retros and content planning sessions.
What to ask Claude:
- "Summarize the themes and decisions from our campaign brainstorm board."
- "Build a board for planning next month's content, with one frame per platform."
- "Turn the sticky notes in the ideas frame into a list of post topics."
Good to know: made by Miro and added in February 2026. It is listed under several categories in Claude's directory, including sales and marketing. Once you have topics, our AI content generator turns them into drafts.
Other Claude connectors worth adding
These did not make the top 10 for content work, but are worth a look depending on your stack. Each is Anthropic verified in Claude's directory.
| Connector | What it does | Worth it if |
|---|---|---|
| Google Calendar | Finds free time, creates and updates events, responds to invites | You schedule a lot of meetings or shoots |
| Figma | Pulls design context and turns frames into code | Your team builds landing pages or apps |
| monday.com | Searches boards, creates items, sets owners and timelines | You run projects in monday.com instead of Asana |
| Microsoft 365 (built by Anthropic) | Searches SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook and Teams | You use Microsoft 365 at work (work or school accounts only) |
| Zoom | Searches meetings, recordings, AI summaries and transcripts | You want to turn calls and webinars into content |
| Intercom | Searches customer conversations, tickets and contacts | You want real customer language for your copy |
| Linear | Creates and updates issues and projects | Your marketing team works alongside engineering |
| Box | Searches files and answers questions across documents | Your files live in Box rather than Drive |
How to add a connector in Claude
You can add connectors on Claude for the web, Claude Desktop and the mobile apps (adding them on mobile is in beta). The steps from Claude's help center:
- Go to Customize > Connectors in Claude (or click + in a chat, hover over Connectors and choose Manage connectors).
- Click + next to Connectors and browse by category or scroll the full list.
- Open the connector, read what it can do, and click Connect.
- Sign in to the app and approve the permissions.
- In a chat, click +, hover over Connectors and toggle on the ones you want Claude to use.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner or Primary Owner has to enable each connector for the organization first, under Organization settings > Connectors (unless your organization uses Enterprise-managed auth, currently in beta). Each person then signs in with their own account.
Using Claude Code or a custom setup? Every web connector has a connector URL (for example https://mcp.notion.com/mcp for Notion), and you can add any remote MCP server as a custom connector (Free plans are limited to one custom connector). Our guide to using PostEverywhere with Claude Code walks through it for social media.
Claude connector workflows for content teams
Connectors get more useful in combination, because Claude can pass work from one app to the next in a single conversation. Four that work well:
- Brief to published post: Notion (read the brief) → Canva (design the image) → PostEverywhere (write a version per platform and schedule it).
- Spreadsheet to calendar: Google Drive (read the content plan sheet) → PostEverywhere (schedule every row) → Slack (tell the team it is queued).
- Webinar to social: Zoom (pull the transcript and summary) → Claude pulls out the strongest quotes and writes posts around them → PostEverywhere (schedule them across a fortnight).
- Report and react: HubSpot (find the content that drove contacts) → PostEverywhere (re-share the winners on the platforms that worked).
If you want to go further and have an assistant run these on its own, our comparison of AI agents for social media covers the options, and how to use Claude for social media covers the writing side.
Close the loop from idea to published post. PostEverywhere is the publishing step for every workflow above, with scheduled posts visible in one calendar before they go out. Compare plans.
Are Claude connectors safe?
Connectors are as safe as the permissions you give them, and Claude gives you more control than most people use. Three habits keep you in charge:
- Claude inherits your permissions. A connector can only reach what your own account can reach in that app. If you cannot open a file, Claude cannot either.
- Keep risky tools on a short leash. On Team and Enterprise plans, Owners can set each connector's tools to Always allow, Needs approval or Blocked for the whole organization (Customize > Connectors, under Tool permissions). We suggest "Needs approval" for anything that sends, publishes or deletes. On any plan, you can switch a connector off for a chat from the + menu.
- Only connect apps you trust. Claude's directory shows who made each connector, and each listing notes that Anthropic does not control which tools developers make available and cannot verify that they will always work as intended. Stick to connectors built by the company that owns the app, or by Anthropic.
For social media specifically, where a post is public the moment it goes out, our guide to giving AI agents safe access to social media covers approval steps in more depth.
Prefer to review before anything goes live? Ask Claude to save posts as drafts or schedule them, and you can check, edit or delete each one in PostEverywhere before it publishes. See how scheduling works.
FAQ
What are Claude connectors?
Claude connectors are integrations that let Claude use your apps. They can read your data and take actions, such as searching Google Drive, drafting in Gmail or publishing to social media. They are built on the Model Context Protocol and work in Claude, Claude Desktop, Cowork, the mobile apps and Claude Code.
Are Claude connectors free?
Connectors are available to all Claude users, according to Claude's help center. The apps they connect to may still need their own subscription. For example, PostEverywhere starts at $9/month with a 7-day trial.
How do I add a connector to Claude?
Go to Customize > Connectors, click the + button, choose the connector, click Connect and sign in to the app. Then toggle it on in a chat from the + menu. On Team and Enterprise plans an Owner or Primary Owner has to enable the connector for the organization first.
What is the difference between a Claude connector and a plugin?
A connector is the link to an app, built on an MCP server. A plugin can bundle one or more connectors with skills that teach Claude how to use them well. For most people, adding the connector from Claude's directory is all that is needed.
Can Claude post to social media?
Yes, with a publishing connector. PostEverywhere connects to Claude as a custom connector and lets Claude write, schedule and publish posts to all top platforms, and it can save posts as drafts or schedule them, so you can review each one before it goes out.
Is it safe to connect my apps to Claude?
Yes, if you set it up carefully. Claude only sees what your account can see in each app, and on Team and Enterprise plans Owners can set each tool to Always allow, Needs approval or Blocked. Use "Needs approval" for any tool that sends, publishes or deletes, and only connect apps from developers you trust.
