# PostEverywhere vs SocialPilot: Which Scheduler Fits Your Team? > SocialPilot prices by agency seat, PostEverywhere by account. Below 5 accounts SocialPilot is cheaper to start and its trial takes no card. Past 10 accounts or 3 users, the gap reverses sharply. The honest numbers, both ways. **Source:** https://posteverywhere.ai/blog/posteverywhere-vs-socialpilot **Author:** Jamie Partridge **Published:** 2026-09-13 --- **PostEverywhere vs SocialPilot: which should you pick?** They price two different things. [SocialPilot](https://www.socialpilot.co/pricing) charges for agency capability, bundling client management, white-label reports and approvals into tiers that step up steeply: $20, $40, $100, $200 a month. [PostEverywhere](/pricing) charges for accounts and leaves the capability in: $9, $19, $29, $39 a month flat. If you run client work, SocialPilot's tiers are built for you. If you run your own brands, you are paying for an agency toolkit you will not open. One number decides most of it: **SocialPilot's entry plan is one user.** Add a second person and you are on Standard at $40. *Written by Jamie Partridge, Founder. Prices checked 13 September 2026.* ## What PostEverywhere and SocialPilot actually cost | SocialPilot (annual) | Price | Accounts | Users | |---|---|---|---| | Essentials | $17/mo | 5 | 1 | | Standard | $34/mo | 10 | 3 | | Premium | $85/mo | 20 | 6 | | Ultimate | $170/mo | 40 | unlimited | Monthly billing is $20 / $40 / $100 / $200. There is **no free plan**, but the trial is **14 days and takes no card**. | PostEverywhere | Price | Accounts | Seats | |---|---|---|---| | Lite | $9/mo | 2 | 1 | | Starter | $19/mo | 5 | 2 | | Growth | $29/mo | 10 | 3 | | Scale | $39/mo | 20 | 5 | Annual billing is 20% off. The trial is **7 days and requires a card**, and there is no free plan. ## The SocialPilot number most reviews skip Reviews line up "5 accounts for $17 vs 5 accounts for $19" and call SocialPilot cheaper. At one user, it is, by $2. The number that actually moves is **seats**. SocialPilot Essentials includes one. The moment a colleague needs access you are on Standard: $34/mo annual for 10 accounts and 3 users. PostEverywhere Starter gives 2 seats at $19, Growth gives 3 seats and 10 accounts at $29. So the honest shape is: **SocialPilot is cheaper for exactly one person with five accounts, and more expensive at almost every other point on the curve.** At 20 accounts it is $85/mo against $39. ## Where SocialPilot genuinely wins **Agency client management.** Premium and above add client onboarding, custom fields, white-label reports and a dedicated client view. PostEverywhere has [multi-account management](/multi-account-management) and [team workspaces](/team-workspaces), but nothing that packages a client relationship the way SocialPilot does. If you bill clients for reporting, that difference is the whole product. **A trial that asks for nothing.** 14 days, no card. Ours is 7 days and wants a card up front. If "let me try it before I hand over payment details" is a hard requirement, SocialPilot wins that outright and we are not going to pretend otherwise. **Unlimited users at the top tier.** Ultimate removes the seat count entirely at $170/mo. For a large agency with many coordinators, that can be cheaper per head than anything we offer. **Google Business Profile.** SocialPilot publishes to it. We do not. ## Where SocialPilot hurts **The seat cliff at one.** Essentials is a single-user plan, which is a strange shape for a product sold to agencies. The realistic agency entry point is Standard at $34/mo annual. **AI is metered as credits.** 500 on Essentials, 1,000 on Standard, 5,000 on Premium. Credits are fine until a heavy month, at which point the tool you bought to save time starts rationing. **The step from Standard to Premium is 2.5x.** $34 to $85 for ten more accounts and three more users. There is nothing between them. ## What the same setup costs on PostEverywhere vs SocialPilot Three people, ten social accounts, posting daily: | | Annual monthly cost | |---|---| | SocialPilot Standard | **$34** | | PostEverywhere Growth | **$23** (annual) or $29 monthly | Six people, twenty accounts: | | Annual monthly cost | |---|---| | SocialPilot Premium | **$85** | | PostEverywhere Scale | **$31** (annual) or $39 monthly | The gap widens as you grow, which is the opposite of how most tools in this category behave. ## Why PostEverywhere is the better answer for most teams This is our product, so check the claims rather than take them. The case is narrow and specific: **we do not meter posting, we do not bill per seat, and we do not gate AI behind credits on the lower tiers.** Seats are bundled into the plan, all top platforms are included on every plan rather than sold as add-ons, and [AI image generation](/ai-image-generator) and [video generation](/ai-video-generator) are in the product rather than a separate subscription. We also run a hosted [MCP server](/mcp), built on the Model Context Protocol and published as @posteverywhere/mcp, so ChatGPT, Claude or Grok can schedule and publish directly. SocialPilot does not offer that, and it is the difference between a tool you operate and one an assistant can operate for you. Our guide to [connecting an assistant](/blog/connect-claude-to-social-media) covers the setup. **Where we lose, so you can weigh it:** SocialPilot's client management and white-label reporting are better than ours and we have no real equivalent. Its trial is 14 days without a card against our 7 days with one. It publishes to Google Business Profile and we do not. If any of those three is the job, buy SocialPilot. > **Want to test the claim?** [Start a 7-day trial](https://app.posteverywhere.ai/signup), connect the accounts you actually use, and see whether the seat and posting limits ever bite. Card required, $0 charged today, cancel anytime. ## What neither PostEverywhere nor SocialPilot does Worth stating plainly, because a comparison that only lists strengths is not much use. **Neither does social listening at depth.** Both report on your own accounts. Neither monitors brand mentions across the open web, tracks sentiment at scale, or gives you a competitor's share of voice. If that is the requirement, you are shopping in a different price bracket entirely. **Neither runs a real unified inbox with CRM history.** SocialPilot has a social inbox on Standard and above and it is the better of the two, but neither keeps contact history the way a dedicated customer-care tool does. **Neither publishes to every network.** SocialPilot covers Google Business Profile and we do not. We cover Telegram and Discord and it does not. Check your actual list rather than the headline count, because the gap is never where you expect. **Neither is free.** SocialPilot's trial is more generous, ours is shorter, and after that both charge. Tools that are permanently free in this category either cap posting hard or sell your data, and usually both. ## How to choose between PostEverywhere and SocialPilot **Pick SocialPilot** if you run client work and bill for reporting, if you need Google Business Profile, or if trying software without a card is non-negotiable. **Pick PostEverywhere** if you manage your own brands rather than clients, if more than one person needs access on the cheapest plan that works, or if you want an AI assistant driving the queue. **Pick neither** if you need social listening or a unified inbox at depth. Neither tool is built for that; [Sprout Social or Hootsuite](/blog/sprout-social-vs-hootsuite) are, at roughly ten times the price. ## Migrating from SocialPilot to PostEverywhere Both export scheduled content as CSV, and PostEverywhere's [bulk scheduling](/bulk-scheduling) accepts a CSV upload directly, so the queue moves in one file. What does not move is connection history: you reauthorise each social account on the new tool regardless of direction. Budget twenty minutes for that and do it before you cancel anything, not after. ## Frequently asked questions ### Is SocialPilot cheaper than PostEverywhere? At exactly one user with five accounts, yes, by about $2 a month on annual billing. Past that it is not: three users and ten accounts is $34/mo on SocialPilot against $23 on PostEverywhere annual, and twenty accounts is $85 against $31. ### Does SocialPilot have a free plan? No. It has a 14-day trial that does not require a credit card, which is more generous than PostEverywhere's 7-day trial with a card, but neither has a permanently free tier. ### How many users does SocialPilot include? One on Essentials, three on Standard, six on Premium, unlimited on Ultimate. The single-user entry plan is the constraint most teams hit first. ### Which is better for agencies? SocialPilot, if the agency bills for reporting. Its client management, custom fields and white-label reports are genuinely stronger than ours. PostEverywhere is better for agencies that mainly publish and want predictable cost as accounts grow. ### Can an AI assistant post through either tool? Through PostEverywhere, yes, using our hosted MCP server with ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Cursor or Claude Code. SocialPilot does not publish an MCP server, so an assistant cannot drive it directly. ### Does SocialPilot limit how many posts you can publish? Posting is not metered on either tool. SocialPilot meters AI credits instead, from 500 a month on Essentials to unlimited on Ultimate. ### Which supports more platforms? They overlap heavily. SocialPilot adds Google Business Profile, which we do not support. We add Telegram and Discord, which it does not. Both cover Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest and Bluesky. Weighing more than one? We have run the same head-to-head against [Buffer](/blog/posteverywhere-vs-buffer), [Hootsuite](/blog/posteverywhere-vs-hootsuite) and [Planable](/blog/posteverywhere-vs-planable). ## The bottom line SocialPilot is an agency product priced like one: capable at the top, single-user at the bottom, and steep in between. PostEverywhere is a publishing product priced flat, which is better value for teams running their own brands and worse if you need client-facing reporting. If you are one person with five accounts, the $2 is not worth changing tools over. If you are three people with ten, or six with twenty, run both numbers before renewing.
