Technical Details

Why do I need to connect a Facebook Page?

Meta's professional APIs for Instagram require that Business and Creator accounts be linked to a Facebook Page to verify ownership and provide secure API access.

Does this support personal Instagram accounts?

No. Meta does not provide an API for personal Instagram accounts. To use auto-publishing, you must switch your account to a 'Business' or 'Creator' account (free and reversible in Instagram settings).

Can I schedule Instagram Reels directly?
